WHAT’S NEWS IN SEWICKLEY
UNIQUE BUSINESS
OFFERINGS FROM
LOCAL ENTREPRENEUR
Caroline LaRocco manages two very
different businesses with unique and useful
products—Structural Protective Products,
Inc. (SPP) and Elegant Dining Fashions.
SPP offers the ULTRA JAMB
REINFORCER Kit, which has been
ordered extensively by homeowners
nationwide, as well as housing authorities,
property management companies and
general contractors. The ULTRA JAMB is a
convenient and affordable door jamb repair
kit used to cover up the damaged area of a
door jamb so that the screen door can easily
be reattached.
The two main causes for screen doors
being ripped out of door jambs are heavy
winds and excessive usage. Since the weather
has been getting more extreme across the
country, there is a growing demand for
this convenient, affordable solution to an
ongoing problem. And with the increase in
rental properties, housing authorities and
property management companies are using
it as a preventive measure to reduce the need
to send out maintenance personnel to repair
door jambs and/or replace screen doors. For
more information, visit ultrajamb.com.
Elegant Dining Fashions features a line of
glamour bibs for women. This new women’s
accessory has been created in a wide variety
of styles, and looks nothing like a bib. They
are gaining in popularity with both career
women and the senior crowd, retired or
semi-retired, who love to dress up and dine
out. These chic clothing protectors are a
unique item that is now gaining an interest
with gift shops, beauty salons, women’s
catalog, day spas and more. They can be
a charming gift for the woman who has
everything! For more information, visit
