Aesop’s Fables - Puppet Show Friday, June 21, 2 p.m. During this special puppet show, your family will be delighted by five short fables including “Androcles and the Lion,” “The Woodcutter and the Mermaid” and “The Tortoise and the Hare.” With puppets designed by puppetmaker Cheryl Capezzuti in an adaptation by Kellee Van Aken, these stories are brought to life for the whole family. Family Program BookStop Wednesday, June 26 (Rain date: Thursday, June 27) & Wednesday, July 31 (Rain date: Thursday, Aug. 1) The library is teaming up with Quaker Valley Schools and the United Way to bring the BookStop program to the Sewickley Valley. This partnership helps to distribute books to children in local communities. Sewickley Library will be going on two “book runs” on June 26 & July 31. Each book run has four stops where books will be distributed.
