Founded in 2023 by Joel and Anne Simpson, the Sewickley Runners Club has grown from a small weekly meet-up into a welcoming collective, bringing together runners of all ages and abilities. What began as a search for connection has evolved into a thriving community centered on friendship and giving back— expanding to social events, race teams and the inaugural Sewickley Classic 5K benefiting Laughlin Children’ s Center.
