CHILD HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SEWICKLEY TO PRESENT HOUSE TOUR
The Child Health Association of Sewickley will present the 41st Sewickley House Tour,“ Inspiring Homes: Timeless Beauty,” on Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2.
This annual event invites guests to explore a curated selection of beautiful homes while celebrating classic design and architecture. All proceeds benefit children and families across Western Pennsylvania.

BELLE VOCI TO PRESENT CONCERT IN MARCH FEATURING BROADWAY HITS
Belle Voci will hold the annual Women’ s History Month concert on Sunday, March 15, at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church.“ Divas of the Theatre” will feature songs written for famous Broadway divas, including iconic hits like“ Everything’ s Coming Up Roses”( from“ Gypsy”),
“ People”( from“ Funny Girl”),“ Before the Parade Passes By”( from“ Hello, Dolly!”),“ Defying Gravity”( from“ Wicked”),“ Climb Ev’ ry Mountain”( from“ The Sound of Music”) and many more.
Belle Voci will be joined by the Greater Harmony Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International— dedicated to promoting and preserving the art of barbershop harmony— in a fun afternoon celebrating some favorite Broadway superstars. Tickets are available at bellevocipgh. com.
Now in its 14th season, Belle Voci is a community-based adult choir that sings music for voices in the treble range. The choir performs an eclectic repertoire of wide-ranging styles. STATE GRANTS BRING IMPROVEMENTS TO OHIO TOWNSHIP AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES
Ohio Township and nearby communities are set to benefit from more than $ 1.6 million in new state funding announced state Rep. Arvind Venkat, alongside state Sens. Lindsey Williams, Devlin Robinson, and Wayne Fontana.
Through the Small Water and Sewer Grant Program, Ohio Township received $ 333,000 for stormwater improvements at the Ohio Township EMS & Fire Training Facility, a project aimed at addressing long-standing infrastructure needs.
Additional funding across the North Hills will support sewer and stormwater repairs in McCandless, Hampton Township and Emsworth— projects that help protect waterways and strengthen essential public systems that serve residents throughout the area.
In a separate investment, nearly $ 600,000 in Green Light – Go funding will modernize traffic signal equipment, including $ 155,832 for upgrades at Mt.
Nebo and Camp Horne roads in Ohio Township. These improvements are designed to enhance traffic flow, safety, and mobility for commuters traveling to and from Sewickley and neighboring municipalities.
Together, these grants represent a significant investment in the region’ s infrastructure— supporting safer roads, stronger public facilities and more resilient communities throughout the greater Sewickley area.
VENKAT ANNOUNCES $ 60,000 IN STATE FUNDING FOR NHCO
State Rep. Arvin Venkat recently announced that through the state’ s Neighborhood Assistance Program, North Hills Community Outreach( NHCO) has received $ 63,000 in funding.
This will allow NHCO to implement a Family-Centered Coaching model, which will help to streamline the organization’ s services and empower clients. Funding will be used for program staff, food pantry supplies, basic necessities and rent / utility assistance to prevent homelessness.
“ The work that North Hills Community Outreach has done in our community has an incredible impact, from keeping our neighbors fed to helping our seniors stay healthy and safe,” Venkat said.“ I am thankful for the dedication they have to serving our community and proud to continue supporting their efforts.”
This is one of 90 awards from the Neighborhood Assistance Program supporting the Southwest region of Pennsylvania, which includes Allegheny and 13 other counties.
412 FOOD RESCUE RECEIVES GRANT
412 Food Rescue received a $ 15,000 grant from the Bayer Fund to support its Good Food Project and its Grocery Bagging Program, which work to reduce food waste while addressing food insecurity across the Pittsburgh region.
