Celebrate Light-Up Night,
sponsored by the Etna Light-Up Night
Committee and the Borough of Etna!
Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a
hometown parade escorting Santa to his
headquarters on Walnut Street where he
greets children with a special treat. There’s
family entertainment, a live Christmas
music program, and fun-filled activities
headed up by the Scouts, the local
sports teams, and other organizations
in town. The stores stay open, offering
special treats and special sale s, and
the Christmas lights are turned on,
transforming downtown Etna into a

Enjoy the warm fire and holiday
carols on the back patio of the Nature
Center until 7 p.m. when the tree lights
will be lit. One lucky child in attendance
will be randomly selected to light up the
night! Santa Claus, the special guest of
the night, will arrive shortly after 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited inside the Nature
Center after Santa’s arrival to visit with
him and for light refreshments and more
holiday carols. Remember to bring a
camera to capture the moment! The first
50 kids to visit Santa Claus will receive a
custom-made ornament commemorating
the night!
