NHHS PRESENTS ‘ THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE ’
The North Hills High School Drama Club ’ s spring musical this year was “ The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee .” Performances were held over two weekends , March 15-17 and March 21-23 , in the North Hills High School auditorium .
With an award-winning book by Rachel Sheinkin , the musical tells the story of an eclectic group of six adolescents as they vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime .
A total of 85 students participated in the production : 39 in the cast , 30 crew members , eight stage managers , and eight in the pit orchestra . The musical was directed by Lauren Sarazen .
