A MESSAGE FROM THE MANAGER
O
n behalf of the Board of Commissioners of Ross
Township and all municipal employees, I am pleased
to present the Summer Edition of the Ross Township In
Community Magazine. We have been very busy with
new projects and planning for the future, including:
• The updating of the Township’s Comprehensive Plan is underway.
The Comprehensive Plan will set forth the desired future land use
and development, plus set strategies for housing, roads, parks,
and the other valuable resources of our Township.
• The Board is hiring the Township’s first Planning and Zoning
Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing all
development and re-development within the Township.

• The Commissioners authorized $1 million in the 2014 budget for
road repaving and the Township Engineer and the Public Works
Department are working hard to get the paving projects in place
and started for the summer season.
• The Township is unveiling its new website, which has been
completely redesigned and upgraded so that residents can have
as much information as possible on a timely basis. Please visit our
new website at http://www.ross.pa.us/.
Exciting things are happening in Ross and I am happy to be a
part of them. If you have any problems or issues that we can assist
with – please feel free to give me a call at the Township Office.
Sincerely,
R O SS TOWN SH IP NE WS
