ROSS TOWNSHIP
In this class, actors will delve further into understanding how
to interact onstage, how to take direction, how to audition,
and how to prepare for a live performance. We will tackle some
monologues and short plays to get experience applying the
skills and at the end we will present a showcase of actors work
to a small invited audience. This is a great class for high school
students who are interested in theatre as well as adults who may
want to step on stage as an amateur or even a professional.

Wednesdays from 7:15-8:15pm
Swing dancing is a healthy combination of fun and exercise;
and anyone can learn a basic swing to enjoy in social situations.

Instructor Biography: Janet Bartlett
The instructor was a classically-trained ballet professional who
explored and taught many different dance genres over her many
years of teaching. Swing dancing was part of her childhood,
as her parents were accomplished in it and taught her and
her siblings in the living room of their home growing up. She
followed this childhood love with formal ballroom lessons as an
adult. Janet was the choreographer at North Hills High School
and Junior High School for many years – and at Pine-Richland
High School prior to that. She has taught at several dance studios
here in Pittsburgh.
