NHSD Sports Hall of Fame
Nominations Accepted
Through April 1
orth Hills School District is accepting nominations for
its 2019 Sports Hall of Fame. Nominations must be
received no later than April 1.
This year marks the 24th year of the establishment
of the district’s Sports Hall of Fame. Created in 1995, it honors
individuals who have distinguished themselves in athletics
during and/or beyond their years at North Hills High School or
the former West View High School.
Current inductees have brought pride and recognition to
the district’s athletic programs and to the community as former
players, coaches, administrators and supporters.

Time

oss Elementary students partnered
with Tree Pittsburgh, One Tree Per
Child, the state Department of
Conservation and Natural Resources
and Ross Township Parks and Recreation
Department to plan 20 persimmon and
pawpaw trees at Sangree Park.

Inductees will be announced in June and recognized during
the Annual Sports Hall of Fame dinner in the fall. They also
will be introduced at a Friday night football game at Martorelli
Stadium. Former inductees are encouraged to attend. An
online nomination form is available on the district’s website
www.nhsd.net under the Alumni heading.
