There’s something for everyone at the
8th Annual Brave American Classic—a
fun, family-friendly, and patriotic race that
pays respect to veterans and their families.
Register to participate in your choice of
a 5K, 10K, or a 1-mile walk! Proceeds go
to Boulder Crest, an organization that
provides retreats to help combat veterans
and their families. Join everyone at St.
Stephens—a huge, warm indoor venue—
for some amazing guest speakers, the
Ohio Valley Marines Color Guard and the
singing of the national anthem!
North Park Ice Show

Attend this annual show featuring ice
skating students from North Park who will
dazzle the audience! To participate in the
ice show, you must have participated in ice
skating lessons. Practices will be held on
Tuesdays and Thursdays after completion
of the January-February skating lessons.

Benefiting the Anna Seethaler Hospital
for the poor in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Olé
5K features the best post-race fiesta in
the ‘burgh! Including a Mexican buffet,
festive music, raffles and prizes. Prizes
will be awarded to the top three overall
males/females and the top three in each

2nd Annual Pennies Pedal

Save the date! Pennies Pedal is a fun ride
that allows both casual and avid cyclists
to come together to support Pennies from
Heaven while enjoying the world-famous
Great Allegheny Passage (a Rails-to-Trails
bike trail). The finish-line festival will
include great food, entertainment and
fantastic raffle items! Proceeds benefit
the Pennies from Heaven Fund, founded
by Joni and Jon Perry of Wexford, which
helps ease financial hardships for parents
so they can stay with their children in

2019 Shamrock Shuffle
Children’s Theater Festival
is dedicated to continuing
the tradition of theater for
children. Live performances
from professional international artists
engage children of all ages from various
cultures and perspectives, showing them
different ways to express ideas. This year,
the 33rd annual festival celebrates another
year in the vibrant Cultural District with
exciting performances, free activities, and

The Fringe Festival has been in multiple
venues across the North Side of Pittsburgh
and showcases theater (physical, street,
musical), comedy, visual arts, puppetry,
family entertainment, music, dance,
spoken word, opera, poetry, literature and
shows people haven’t even thought of yet!

The Shamrock Shuffle is an annual
event that benefits the Zelienople Rotary
Club. The half-marathon is one of the
toughest in the tri-state area, with a big
climb about 6 miles into the race. The 5K
and 1-mile races are family-friendly events
on rolling hills. Athletes have the option
to run all three races. There’s no better way
to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than this fun
race. Enjoy the quaint town of Harmony
afterward by visiting the shops and
restaurants. Finisher medals for all races.
Beer glasses for awards and each runner
gets a loaf of gourmet cinnamon swirl
