NORTHLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY PRESENTS A FREE FOLK MUSIC CONCERT
Please join us at the Ross Community Center on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 7:00PM for a FREE folk concert! Adam Broome and Jaige Trudel of the band Maivish will be performing alongside Rachel Bell on accordion. Jaige plays the fiddle; Adam will be playing the guitar as well as being the vocals. The concert will be about an hour with time after for discussion about the instruments, the performance or music in general. All are welcome to attend but seating is limited to the first 200 people to arrive.
This will be a fantastic night of fun and folk music – it is also educational, as the performers look forward to answering your questions following the performance!

We offer classes for the whole family. Travis Morton has almost 20 years of training experience, and no affiliation to the other local Martial Arts programs. We require no contracts. There is no enrollment window( join whenever you like). And we offer all the training and testing services at one cost. We have students in all of our programs’ age levels( Dragons, Youth, Adult), so joining is friendly-- not intimidating. Family discount rates are available.

The curriculum encompasses: Self-Defense, Physical Enrichment, and Mental Growth. We strive to give students the tools and confidence to be better prepared to overcome obstacles in life.

Dragons( 4-6)- Thursdays at 5pm-5:45pm Our Dragon’ s program is a fun way of adapting Martial Arts to appeal to younger kids, while being geared towards their energy and focus abilities. We do not force material on Dragons, we use this program to prepare them for their entrance to Youth classes when it is appropriate.
Cost: $ 50 / month for Ross Residents $ 60 / month for Non-Residents

NEW PROGRAM! 5 ON 5 BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Instructors: Pam Hurt & Jason Pirring Ross Township Summer Youth Basketball 5 on 5 League is an off‐season basketball league for all boys and girls from going into 5th grade to the upcoming 12th graders. The Ross Township community center 5 on 5 league is for everyone: beginners, advanced and anyone in between. The new program is specifically for those players that wish to play past the primary basketball season and stay active in the offseasons. Our leagues are set up for competitive play, but the overall goal is enjoyable participation for all. The emphasis is purely recreational and is based on developing fun, enjoyment, good sportsmanship, and friendship.
Ross Resident: $ 60 Non-resident: $ 70 Dates: 6-week session, starting Wednesday, June 14th, 7:00‐9:00 p. m.
