( MNBG-E). I served as the liaison between these different nations. This proved to be one of the most rewarding aspects of being part of a multi-national force.

ROSS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Within MNBG-E we were assigned soldiers from Poland, Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania and Turkey. It was quite a challenge to get everyone to work together considering the diversity of cultural backgrounds. Now add the fact that every troop-contributing nation has a multitude of national holidays and other political celebrations that required the presence from the other nations, it made for a colorful deployment.
Monthly Meetings: Join the historical society for their monthly meetings at the Ross Municipal Building. Meetings of the Ross Township Historical Society are the third Friday of March and May at 6:30 p. m. at the Ross Township Municipal Building.
All meeting are free and open to the public!

On January 20, 2017, the Ross Historical Society celebrated their 10 year anniversary! Congratulations to John Schalcosky, Susan Campbell, Sandy Brown and this wonderful group; we look forward to another 10 years together. oss Township

ROSS TOWNSHIP NEWS
Who would have thought that I, an average Ross Township Police Officer, would be attending events and functions involving Ambassadors, members of the Kosovo Parliament, and high ranking officers from other nations and forming friendships that would span different cultures and continents?
Did this make up for being away from family and friends for eleven months? No. Do I feel that I truly made a difference in this area of the world? Most definitely. And in turn, I returned to my country a better, wiser man for it.
