BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETINGS Ross Township Board of Commissioner public meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. Each session will commence at 6:30 p. m. for a committee meeting, and at 7:30 p. m. the Board will conduct its public business meeting. Some meetings may be changed to accommodate holidays or special circumstances. The agenda for the next meeting will be posted on the website the Friday before the next meeting.

This spring I will be hosting two important events in my district. As always, these events are FREE to the public. If you have any questions regarding these events, please feel free to contact my office.

On Friday, March 24 I will be holding my annual Job Fair at the Ross Community Center from 10:00 a. m. until 1:00 p. m. Come meet with employers hiring in and around the Pittsburgh area. Those attending are encouraged to dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes.

On Saturday, May 20 my office will be hosting another Shredding Event at the St Raphael School Parking Lot( 1154 Chislett St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206) from 9:00 a. m. until 11:00 a. m. Protect your identity and bring any personal documents containing Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, etc. to be shredded on site. There is a five box limit. No business shredding.

Iron City Workplace Services cannot accept phone books, spiral notebooks, binders, floppy discs, CD / DVDs, bound books or magazines, steel binder clips, steel ACCO fasteners and other hard metal or plastic materials. They cannot operate the mobile shredding equipment in the rain due to the risk of damage. If there is wet weather on the day of a scheduled event, Iron City will determine whether or not the equipment can be operated. If it is raining on the day of the event, you can call my office at 412.361.2040 and listen to a voicemail to find out if the event will be taking place.

A representative from my office is available at the Ross Community Center every Wednesday from 10:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. to assist you with any state related issues you may have, such as Property Tax / Rent Rebates, LIHEAP applications, food stamps, Medicaid, PennDOT, and more. FREE notary services are also available at this site with an appointment. If you plan to come to the satellite office, you are encouraged to call my district office ahead of time to make sure you bring the proper documents to help assist you.

My district office, located at 6808 Greenwood St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206, is also open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a. m. until 4:30 p. m., and Thursdays until 7:00 p. m. You are more than welcome to call 412.361.2040, or stop by any time.
