North Hills Hands for Service Club Launches“ The Pantry” to Help Fellow Students in Need

Across the United States, nearly 1 in every five adolescents lives in poverty. In response to this need in our local community, North Hills High School’ s Hands for Service Club has created The Pantry.

The Pantry allows high school and middle school students to shop“ The Pantry” for toiletries, food items, school supplies, laundry care items and other necessities that may pose a financial challenge for their families to provide for them. Without The Pantry, many of these students will be going without these items.

Little Dresses for Africa at NHHS

High school students in Jessica Hoffman’ s Fashion and Sewing class partnered with Little Dresses for Africa to craft attire for girls across the African continent.

Students utilized pillowcases and other fabric to construct simple dresses that will make a huge difference in the life of each little girl who receives one. Mrs. Hoffman is always accepting donations of pillow cases, bias tape and fabric for this effort. Donations can be dropped off in the high school main office.
