With a creek meandering through it, this park is home to five baseball diamonds, a vast playground known as Kids Kingdom, miles of hiking trails, a basketball court, and the Mayernik Center, available to rent for events year-round. Summer comes alive between Memorial Day and Labor Day at the Avonworth Community Park Pool, a public swimming pool complete with a slide, diving board, baby pool, changing facilities, and a snack bar. Do you love birdwatching? This 220-acre site is a non-traditional borough park that can be used for hiking, birdwatching, etc. The park also contains the Bell Acres Trail, which was created with a joint effort of the Quaker Valley High School Earthforce 2001 Group and Bell Acres Borough. The trail is a quarter-mile long and ends at the Merriman House foundation. The Merriman family is believed to be the first settlers in the area. There are no facilities located at this park.
