ROSS TOWNSHIP
COMMUNITY DAY
This year’s Ross Township Community
Day celebration and Independence Day
Parade were held on Sunday, July 3.
The parade began at 2 p.m. and
proceeded along Perry Highway, past
Perrysville Volunteer Fire Department,
and ended at Brandt’s Funeral Home.
Refreshments were available at the fire
department when the parade came to a
close.
A fun-filled day followed, with activities
for all ages including a Living Treasures
Petting Zoo, Touch-a-Truck event for
kids, outdoor rides, a game carnival in the
Community Center and Gym, local food
vendors, a canine demonstration provided
by Ross police, a special presentation by
Ross Historical Society and much more.
Musical entertainment was provided by
Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers in
the evening, and the event wrapped up at
dusk as fireworks lit up the night sky.
