Surgical Oncology
Surgery to remove cancerous tissue may be used in conjunction with chemotherapy and radiation. In some cases, surgery may be the only treatment needed. Surgical oncologists see patients for consultations and pre- and postoperative appointments at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center on Oxford Drive and perform surgery at UPMC East.
