This event will be held in honor of Jeremy Dentel , who died tragically in 2022 . He was very involved with Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh , which has established the Jeremy Dentel Emergency Medical Fund . The fund helps underwrite the cost of care for animals recovering from abuse , neglect , or injuries suffered from a traumatic event . This outing will further raise money for the fund .
