Plum High School Athletes Shine Plum Senior Male and Female Athletes of the Year Plum High School Tri-Athlete Honorees Ashley Amato (soccer, basketball and track) and Zach Nolan (football, ice hockey and baseball) were recognized at the Northern Athletic Directors Association 17th Annual Tri-Athlete Awards luncheon on May 25th. The NADA is comprised of 21 local high schools. Ashley was selected as the recipient of the NADA Female Tri-Athlete Annual Scholarship. She was presented with a $250 scholarship and Plum High School will receive a plaque to display for the next year listing all of the past recipients names. Ashley will play soccer at the University of Akron and Zach will play football at Georgetown University in the fall. Baseball Draft PLUM BOROUGH SCH OOL NE WS lum Borough Zach Nolan and Ashley Amato were named the 2016 Plum Senior High School Male and Female Athletes of the Year. Both Zach and Ashley play multiple sports; Ashley participates in soccer, basketball, and track, while Zach plays football, ice hockey, and baseball. Ashley will attend the University of Akron and play soccer. Zach will play football in the fall at Georgetown University. Plum Senior, outfielder and pitcher, Alex Kirilloff has been invited to attend the Major League Baseball draft on June 9th in Secaucus, N.J. Alex was selected as a Louisville Slugger Pre-season All-American and is one of the highest rated draft prospects in the country.
