Elementary Strings … Music and Beyond!

In May the Plum Borough Elementary Orchestra performed their annual concert at the Plum High School auditorium. The elementary orchestra is under the direction of Mr. Nick Vranesevic and consists of students in grades 4, 5, and 6. This concert was different than any other strings concert that Plum has ever experienced. The concert incorporated video and audio that followed the repertoire and theme of the concert that made it an exciting evening for all in attendance! Including technology during the concert has raised Plum Elementary Strings to a new level. In addition, the students performed a variety of music at a very high ability level. This is definitely a concert that you will not want to miss next year.
If your child would like to join the EXCITEMENT of the Orchestra, you can contact Mr. Vranesevic( vranesevic @ pbsd. k12. pa. us), and he will provide you with all of the information that you need. Students entering 4th grade can begin playing a stringed instrument in-school for the 2016 – 2017 school year. We look forward to having many new students who are excited about music and strings!
