used in K-2 and next year for grades
3-6. Highlights from this resource
include how students and teachers
integrate animated videos into their
daily math lessons. Parents and
guests watched their children work
on math centers like those used in
our kindergarten to second grade
classrooms.
More so, the evening allowed
our children and their parents to
celebrate the importance of math
learning and provided a venue to
showcase the talents of our students.
Many thanks to all who helped make
this a successful academic evening!
Stevenson Elementary
students performed at their
annual talent show. Working
with the PTA, students honed
their skills and talents. This
year, over 25 acts performed
as groups, duets, and soloists.
Student talents included
singing, dancing, guitar, and
a magician’s act. Parents and
families were amazed at the
different talents students
have outside the classroom.
Kindergarten and First Grade
students, led by Mrs. Zegar, also
performed a song between acts for
the crowd. Students worked hard
practicing and even performed a
dress rehearsal for the student body.
