used in K-2 and next year for grades 3-6. Highlights from this resource include how students and teachers integrate animated videos into their daily math lessons. Parents and guests watched their children work on math centers like those used in our kindergarten to second grade classrooms. More so, the evening allowed our children and their parents to celebrate the importance of math learning and provided a venue to showcase the talents of our students. Many thanks to all who helped make this a successful academic evening! Stevenson Elementary students performed at their annual talent show. Working with the PTA, students honed their skills and talents. This year, over 25 acts performed as groups, duets, and soloists. Student talents included singing, dancing, guitar, and a magician’s act. Parents and families were amazed at the different talents students have outside the classroom. Kindergarten and First Grade students, led by Mrs. Zegar, also performed a song between acts for the crowd. Students worked hard practicing and even performed a dress rehearsal for the student body.
