On the day of the event, plan to arrive between 8 and 8:30 am at the Plum Boro Public Works Facility located at 2001 Old Mine Road. You can enjoy a continental breakfast while you wait to get your road assignment. We will provide you with the supplies you will need (gloves, trash bags and safety vests) at check in. For more information visit www.plumboro.com or [email protected]. 3rd Annual Opening Day of Trout for Kids Join us for Opening Day on Saturday, April 13 from 8 am to Noon at Plum Creek Park’s Streambank (Municipal Ballfield Complex) on New Texas Road. Plum Creek will be stocked with over 1,000 trout of all sizes! Attendees will need to bring their own fishing rod and bait. This free event is open to children (age 12 and under) and must be accompanied by an adult. There is a one trout limit with catch and release all day. On-site registration begins at 7 am or you can skip the line and pick up your free event license at the Boro Building. Event licenses will be available on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11 from 9 am to 4 pm. Please bring proof of residency with you. This free event is open to Boro residents only. 4th Annual Community Clean-Up Day In celebration of Earth Day, the Boro is sponsoring “Plum Clean-Up Day” on Saturday, April 27 from 8:30 to 10 am. Your government leaders are committed to keeping our community clean and beautiful by picking-up litter and debris on our roads. 28 PLUM 3rd Annual Eggstravaganza The Plum Chamber of Commerce along with Plum Boro will host an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 20 from 10 am to Noon at Plum Creek Park. Bring your own basket for the egg hunt and enjoy games, a bake sale and more. Register at [email protected] with your children’s name and age. Kickoff to Summer! Movies in the Park: Plum Rotary partners with Plum Boro for Movies in the Park. This is a great opportunity to spend time with your family and friends while enjoying a movie under the stars. Our summer movie series will be held the second Saturday of June, July and August at Larry Mills Park. The movie starts at dusk with free pre-movie activities and games beginning at 7:30 pm.
