FALL 2026
Implementable Comprehensive Plan Plum Borough is currently developing a new Implementable Comprehensive Plan to guide growth, development, and community priorities over the next 10 + years. Led by Pashek MTR, the planning effort is supported by a Steering Committee consisting of a diverse group of stakeholders, including business leaders, community representatives, farmers, and residents. Unlike traditional plans that may seem to disappear after adoption, an implementable plan focuses on achievable goals and practical strategies that can be put into action. Seeking public input through surveys conducted at events such as Fall Fest, public meetings, and stakeholder discussions has played a major role in the process. Draft plans have been presented to Borough Council, and the Planning Commission will have an opportunity to review and comment before Council considers adoption of the plan later this fall.

MS4- Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System
As part of Plum Borough ' s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System( MS4) program, staff continue to collect data and perform inspections throughout the stormwater network to help protect local waterways and ensure the system functions as intended. Regular inspections of detention basins, stormwater outfalls, and related infrastructure allow the Borough to identify maintenance needs, monitor and address potential issues, and report data to the DEP before they become larger problems. These efforts help support water quality, reduce flooding risks, and provide valuable information for future stormwater planning and improvements. www. plumboro. com / community-development
GIS Data Collection
The Borough collects field data on stormwater infrastructure( basins, pipes, and outfalls) and other assets and stores it within our Geographic Information System( GIS). This system and software allows us to maintain accurate records and easily reference information when completing inspections, planning maintenance, or supporting future projects and improvements.
