PREVIEW
Explain to your child what activities will be a part of kindergarten. Take advantage of Meet the Teacher so they can get to know the people and space. Give your child time to ask you questions.
PRACTICE
Do a kindergarten rehearsal, setting out clothes the night before, getting up in plenty of time, and getting in the car and driving the route to school or walking to the bus stop. Children should be able to buckle and unbuckle by themselves, before exiting the vehicle from the passenger side.
