Hollywood continues to produce a
treasure trove of fabulous music, but
there’s a whole other world of movie
music that’s a little less familiar to
Western audiences but no less amazing:
the music of India’s Bollywood. This
concert will reacquaint you with old
favorites by John Williams, Ennio
Morricone and Danny Elfman, but also
introduce you to the spicy sounds of
“Meera Joota Hai Japani,” “Jai Ho,” and
“Badtameez Dil,” sung by Akshay Hari.

Anthony Reilly and Rosemary
Muldoon have grown up next to each
other on two farms in rural Ireland.
Rosemary fell in love with Anthony at
the age of 6, and is convinced that he will
eventually be with her. Anthony had his
heart broken as a young man, and hasn’t
dared open it to another woman since.
Forty years later, the two of them are

Association of Pittsburgh for a Star
Party! Guests will be able to view the sky
through the privately owned telescopes of
volunteer members from the AAAP. This
is a free event but registration is required.

rain will cause the event to be canceled.
