STORY TIMES
Fall Storytimes will begin the week of Nov . 6 and will run for six weeks , ending the week of Dec . 18 . No storytimes will be held during Thanksgiving week .
Winter Storytimes will begin the week of Jan . 2 , 2018 , and will run for six weeks , ending the week of Feb . 5 .
Spring Storytimes will begin the week of Feb . 26 and will run for six weeks , ending the week of April 9 . No storytimes will be held during spring break ( the week of March 26-30 ).
The following story sessions will be offered during each of the three seasonal storytimes listed above . DROP-IN CRAFTS Mondays , starting at 2 p . m . Kids ( and adults !) of all ages are invited to create and enjoy crafts on Monday afternoons , beginning at 2 p . m . This is a drop-in program and will last until supplies run out . PLAYTIME : STORIES & RHYMES Tuesdays , 10:30 to 11 a . m . Ages : 0 to 18 months ( Siblings welcome !) Come and enjoy a half-hour of fun with your baby ! We ’ ll share songs , finger plays , stories and rhymes . Meet other parents and their babies , and enjoy some special time together . Registration is required . TODDLER & PRESCHOOL FITNESS

New Year ’ s Eve Disco Party ! – Friday , Dec . 29 , 1 to 3 p . m . Celebrate New Year ’ s Eve in style ! We ’ ll have a kid-friendly disco party with our very own countdown ! The fun starts at 1 p . m . and our “ midnight ” will be at 3 p . m . Registration is required .
Princesses & Knights Maker Party – Tuesday , Feb . 20 , 6 to 7 p . m . Let your imagination run wild … think of all the wonderful things you can create with our Makerspace equipment . Crowns , shields – even a tiny mechanical horse ! Registration is required .
PROGRAMS FOR TEENS
Our PR Makerspace is located in the PRHS library . Stop by for our Maker Monday events , or drop in whenever the library is operating as a public library ( Monday through Thursday , 2:30 to 5:30 p . m .) and get creative !
Nov . 6 : Smartphone Hologram Projector – Make a hologram video projector out of recycled materials . Place over your phone while playing a hologram video and watch the magic happen !
Nov . 13 : Sewn Keychain – Hand or machinesew a cool keychain using fabric or felt .
Nov . 20 : Loom Knitting – Learn to make a hat or cowl scarf to wear in the colder weather .
Nov . 27 : No Pine – Last day of PRHS ’ s Thanksgiving break .
