Cancer, One Cup at
a Time: 4th Annual
Alex’s Lemonade
Stand
Jen Braim and Charlene Cottrell
made lemonade out of lemons for
kids diagnosed with cancer by hosting
Alex’s Lemonade Stand (ALS) on
Scarlet Circle in Pine Township.
Along with their families and
friends, they raised $1,157 for Alex’s
Lemonade Stand Foundation, which
raises money for and awareness of
childhood cancer causes.
“The charity helps so many children,”
says Braim. “We’re also very blessed
and want to show our kids how to be
charitable.”
