23rd Annual Richland Township Community Day
Richland Township’ s 23rd Annual Community Day kicked off at 3 p. m. on Aug. 13 with the opening ceremonies that marked the beginning of a fun-filled day for all ages. The day was packed with activities including the children’ s barn, Giggles the Clown balloon art, a petting zoo, woodworking crafts by Home Depot, demonstrations by the Depreciation Lands Museum, an ice cream contest, arts, crafts, games, inflatables, hay rides, a 24-foot rock wall and more.
Center stage featured performances by Laura Lynn Dance Studio and Fairgrieve School of Dance. A wing eating contest was sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings and a car cruise took place from 3 to 7 p. m. Vertical 48 and Jukebox provided live music into the evening and the event ended with a bang as fireworks provided by Zambelli International lit up the night sky.
