AUBERLE CELEBRATES 37TH ANNUAL ALL- STAR BANQUET
The stars were shining brightly as Auberle celebrated the outstanding successes of many of its program participants at the 37th Annual All-Star Banquet held on March 26.
Auberle recognized the hard work, determination and resilience of participants in overcoming significant challenges. The celebration brought together community members and supporters to acknowledge the transformative impact of Auberle’ s programs on the lives of the individuals, families and communities it serves.

ROCKIN’ REGATTA!
Downtown Pittsburgh has been without its traditional regatta for a few years now, but boats are returning to the Allegheny River! Pittsburgh Brewing Company will be the site of a new event called Rockin’ Regatta, June 7-8 at the company’ s taproom headquarters in Creighton. RED CROSS SEEKS VOLUNTEERS
The American Red Cross of Greater Pennsylvania is calling for more volunteers, especially in rural communities, to assist with disaster response, blood drives and community education efforts.
Volunteers play a crucial role in providing support to families affected by home fires and other emergencies, engaging with blood donors, and promoting emergency preparedness. In 2024, about 3,400 volunteers helped respond to more than 1,500 local disasters and supported 5,000 blood drives.

PITTSBURGH LUXURY WIG SALON FOR CANCER PATIENTS AND OTHERS CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING
Serenity Wig Salon, founded by cosmetologist Chami Saks, provides a warm and welcoming space for women to regain their confidence. The salon specializes in high-quality, ethically sourced European wigs designed for a natural look and recently celebrated the opening of a new location.
During her hair loss journey while undergoing breast cancer treatment,“ Dance Moms” star Kelly Hyland found comfort at Serenity. Other clients like law student Isabelle, who struggled with alopecia, also praise the salon for its compassionate approach and lifechanging transformations.
The grand opening event took place March 6 at 2734 Murray Avenue in Pittsburgh’ s Squirrel Hill neighborhood. The evening included giveaways, a photo booth and interviews with the founder and clients.
