In every community across the nation , Scouting and its youth members are on the go ! They go camping , hiking , fishing , and biking . They explore nature , science , learn first-aid and safety , meet community leaders , work on service projects and more .
Members are youth , both boys and girls , from kindergarten through 21 years of age . They progress through any of five Scouting programs , exploring beneficial concepts about their world . They experience increasingly challenging adventures to help them grow .
For more than 112 years , Scouting programs have prepared young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law .

WESTINGHOUSE ARTS ACADEMY
Westinghouse Arts Academy is a tuition-free creative and performing arts high school , grades 9 through 12 . It is dedicated to providing arts programming for high school students to further develop their artistic skills , while achieving creative and academic excellence through their course study .
The academy achieves these goals in a unique environment that accommodates diverse interests within a set of uniform standards . Each student ’ s academic instruction is tailored to the needs , interests and goals identified by the student and teachers .
Westinghouse Arts Academy also recognizes the importance of individuality , excellence , and self-responsibility , as well as problem solving and divergent and autonomous thinking .
Additionally , it strives to make a positive change in Wilmerding and the surrounding area by being a catalyst for economic and community development through the arts .

THE PITTSBURGH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA ADDS CONCERTS TO ITS 2022-2023 LINEUP
The Pittsburgh Symphony announced the addition of several concerts to the 2022-2023 lineup : Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary Distant Worlds : Music from Final Fantasy Coral on Sept . 20 , ‘ Hocus Pocus ’ in Concert on Oct . 19 , and A Marie Osmond Symphonic Christmas on Dec . 20 .
Tickets for these concerts , as well as single tickets for all 2022-2023 season concerts , can be purchased online at pittsburghsymphony . org , by calling 412.392.4900 , or by visiting the box office in person at 600 Penn Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh . General box office hours are Monday-Friday , 9 a . m . to 6 p . m .; Saturday , noon to 4 p . m .; and at least two hours prior to concerts .
Subscriptions for 2022-2023 BNY Mellon Grand Classics , PNC Pops and Fiddlesticks Family Concerts series are also still available .

In a monumental celebration of the epic Final Fantasy music catalogue , Nobuo Uematsu ’ s Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary Distant Worlds : Music from Final Fantasy Coral premieres at Heinz Hall on Sept . 20 under the baton of Grammy Awardwinning conductor Arnie Roth , complete with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra , a chorus , and exclusive HD video direct from the creators at Square Enix .
Bette Midler , Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy star as three wild witches who return from 17th century Salem for a night of zany fun and comic chaos , in “ Hocus Pocus ” in Concert on Oct . 9 . The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performs the soundtrack live to the film in the world premiere of this film in concert with orchestra . Filled with bewitching laughs and magic , this hilarious film is perfect for the entire family .
Entertainment icon Marie Osmond joins the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in A Marie Osmond Symphonic Christmas on Dec . 20 . Spreading the holiday spirit , the performance will captivate audiences with a variety of opera , Broadway and timeless classic songs from her “ Unexpected ” album .
