Rain or shine, there will be plenty
to see and activities for everyone!
Traditionally, the entire town and
countryside turned out for the annual
Market Faire. You will meet skilled
18th century craftspeople, re-enactors,
and “sutlers” (purveyors of 18th
century goods). Enjoy entertainment,
demonstrations, live music, great food and
activities for the children! Hydref, which
means “autumn” in Welsh, was named to
commemorate the Welsh heritage of some

Community Day

As always, this Community Day
will begin with a parade and end with
fireworks. In between, the grounds at
McCandless Town Hall will be filled with
rides, children’s activities, vendors and
(most importantly) food. The headlining
act will be local singer Chris Jamison of
“The Voice,” who will perform at 7 p.m.
