LIL’ DRAGON KARATE / ALL AGES TAE KWON DO
LIL’ DRAGON:
Minimum 4 – Maximum 20 per class
Martial Arts training with curriculum that includes hi-energy drills
and skills designed to build and condition each student’s attitude,
behavior and character development. Programs teach valuable
life skills that focus on Goal Setting, positive attitude, relationship
building, communications and leadership. Instructor: E. Jeffrey Jox

SENIOR GAMES
These games are Olympic-style
competitions held to promote health and
wellness for mature adults. If you are 50
years old or older and reside in Washington,
Fayette or Greene county or a member of
a senior center within these counties your
invited to participate in the Senior Games
that will be held at Peters Township High
School. Pre registration required.

SENIOR FARMER’S MARKET
NUTRITION PROGRAM – CHECK
DISTRIBUTION
The Pennsylvania Farmers Market Program
provides four checks, totaling $20 per
individual, for fruits and vegetables too
seniors that can be redeemed at selected
farmers markets. Interested adults age 60
and older should bring proof of Washington
county residency (example=driver’s
license). Proxy forms available and must be
filled out prior to distribution date.

SENIOR LUNCHEON
Luncheons are held at the Recreation
Center on the second Wednesday of each
month. We ask that you bring a covered
dish and share with others. The second
hour we provide entertainment or a lecture.
Starting in June, the luncheons turn into
picnics and will be held in the park at
shelter 4.

WILD SAFARI BUS TRIP
YOGASTRETCH
Minimum 35 people
We’ll see many rare and endangered
animals roaming in large natural settings
at the Wilds, then off to enjoy lunch buffet
and tour at Schultz Mansion, in Zainsville
OH. After lunch then a one hour cruise on
a sternwheeler along the Muskingum River
and round out the day with a wine tasting
at Terra Cotta Winery.

Move your whole body through a complete
series of seated and standing yoga poses.
Chair support is offered to safely perform
a variety of postures designed to increase
flexibility, balance and range of movement.
Restorative breathing exercises and final
relaxation will promote stress reduction
and mental clarity. Instructor: Suzie Bode

PICKLEBALL
Card Players meet the 4th Tuesday
afternoon of the month at the community
center from 1 – 4 p.m. Drop-ins welcome.
No pre-registration required. Men and
women of all ages are welcome. Beverages
and snacks are provided. Donations

Looking to improve hand-eye coordination,
balance and agility? Ever heard of
Pickleball? If so, bring your friends and
tennis shoes to play this low-impact minitennis sport that uses a wiffleball and
paddle. Open to all adult ages and skill

MUSCULAR STRENGTH & RANGE OF
MOVEMENT - Have fun and move to
the music through a variety of exercises
designed to increase muscular strength,
range of movement, and activity for daily
living skills. Handheld weights, elastic
tubing with handles, and a ball are offered
for resistance; a chair is used for seated
and/or standing support. Free to select
Medicare/local health care plan qualified
participants.
