Earned Income Tax
April 15 is the deadline for not only for filing
your Federal and Pennsylvania State tax returns,
it is also the deadline for filing your 2013 Peters
Township Tax Earned Income Tax Return. In 2012,
for the first time, all Pennsylvania employers were
required to withhold earned income taxes from
their employee’s paychecks. Despite this change,
all taxpayers are still required to file a final return.
Business owners are required to pay quarterly
estimates as well as to file a final return.
By this time, all Peters Township Earned Income
Tax taxpayers should have received a final return
form Keystone Collections Group. If you have
not please contact Keystone at 724.978.0300 or
download the form at www.keystonecollects.com.
The Earned Income Tax final return is located in the
Taxpayer Resources section of the site under forms.

The eighth National Prescription Drug Take Back Day has
been scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 10 a.m. to
2 p.m. This is a great opportunity for those who missed the
previous events, or who have subsequently accumulated
unwanted, unused and expired prescription drugs, to safely
dispose of those medications. Four drop sites have been
identified for Peters Township residents.
They are:
Giant Eagle – Donaldson’s Crossroads Shopping Center;
Market District Express – Route 19/Circle Drive;
Heisler’s Market – McMurray Town Center;
Wright’s Methodist Church – 788 Venetia Road.
In the seven previous Take-Back events, Peters Township
has collected 1,826 lbs. The National Prescription Drug TakeBack Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible
means of disposal, while also educating the general public
about the potential for abuse of these medications.
