A NEW TIMEPIECE FOR PETERS TOWNSHIP
Peters Township marked a special update to its municipal complex with the dedication of a new Main Street clock.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Aug. 10 in front of the Municipal Building, with members of Peters Township Council and staff joined by Washington County commissioners, Peters Township Chamber representatives and representatives from the Washington County Tourism and Promotions Agency.
The clock, located at the entrance to the municipal complex, was made possible through the American Spirit Grant program of the Washington County Tourism and Promotions Agency. A commemorative plaque was installed in honor of the nation’ s 250th anniversary.
