PT Welcomes New Staff Members

Each school year, Peters Township welcomes exceptional new staff members who have distinguished themselves through a highly selective hiring process. Before the halls fill with students and the excitement of the first day, our newest team members take part in an induction program that helps them get to know our schools and community.

Led by Assistant Superintendent Dr. Michael Fisher, our induction team includes teachers, principals and administrators and provides a comprehensive and practical overview of the District ' s best practices and expectations. As part of our welcome to Peters Township, the District hosts a lunch at the High School where our newest staff members have an opportunity to meet members of our administrative team, School Board, PTA and community representatives. Please join us in welcoming these newest full-time members of our teaching team. Staying Connected with Our Schools

Staying connected with Peters Township School is easier than ever with our online tools. For parents of students in our District, the key to all of these connections is the parent PowerSchool account. By creating this account in our District-wide student database, parents may view all of their children with one account with a single username and password. In the parent portal, you will see grades, attendance, bus stop information, and review contact information to make sure that you are not missing any important communication from the school.

Community members who do not have children in our school, but want to stay in touch with school activities and events may sign up for District email news as well. Visit the Email News page of the website( www. ptsd. k12. pa. us / EmailNews. aspx) and complete the online form to be added to the list.
