cars, repairs and inspects them when
feasible, and sells them at discounted
prices to low-income working families and

the kids used but no longer need would be

SOUP AND STROLL
Peters Creek Historical Society will host
its annual holiday “Soup and Stroll” at the
historic Enoch Wright House, located at
815 Venetia Road in Venetia on Sunday,
Dec. 9, from noon to 4 p.m. Amid 19th
century ambiance, guests are invited to
dine on homemade fare of soups, desserts
and artisan breads.
Stroll through the house to meet
Father Christmas, visit the mining room,
admire Enoch’s beaver hat in a recently
restored room and visit the 18th century
log cabin on-site. Adults: $8, Children 9
and under: $5. Tickets are available at
