Holiday Programs
BOO BASH BINGO Monday, Oct. 29, 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. Have a boo-tiful time with the family playing Boo Bash Bingo followed by a Halloween story and treat.
TURKEY DAZE Monday, Nov. 12, 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. It’ s the time of year for talking turkey. We will enjoy a Thanksgiving story, activity, and craft. Please donate a non-perishable food item that we will give to the food bank.
ELF ON THE SHELF KICK OFF PARTY Thursday, Nov. 29, 6:30 to 7:15 p. m. Join us for a story, craft, treat, and movie as we kick-off the Elf on the Shelf season. Beginning November 30, visit the Youth Services Department to hunt for the elf, discover what he is reading, and enter a drawing for a gift basket.
TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY AND HOLIDAY PARTY
Sunday, Dec. 2, 6 p. m. Come to the library for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Party, held in partnership with the Peters Township Parks and Recreation Department. Festivities will include lighting and decorating the Township tree outside at 6 p. m., followed by holiday caroling. Refreshments, visits with Santa, and holiday crafts for children will take place inside the library. Get in the holiday spirit and spend time with family and friends!

For Babies Through Kindergarten …
Regular fall session programs are currently in session through Nov. 16. Winter session: 9 weeks, Jan. 7 through Mar. 8, 2019. Sign-ups begin Nov. 5 for residents, Nov. 12 for non-residents.
For Grades Kindergarten and Up
FIRST LEGO LEAGUE JR. Ages: 6 to 10 Third Wednesday of the Month( no meeting in Nov.) 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. Join fellow LEGO enthusiasts to create what is only limited by your imagination. We will have bricks, but feel free to bring your own too.
CHESS WITH A CHAMPION Ages: Grades 1 through 6 Third Tuesday of the Month, 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. Peter Vuljanic, a champion chess player, will offer free instruction and tips to children of all skill levels.

TWEEN CRAFTERNOONS WITH MS. SHANNON First Tuesday of the Month, 3 to 5 p. m. Join us for an awesome creative craft in the Teen Room.
MAKER MONDAYS WITH MS. LINDA First Monday of the Month, 4 to 4:45 p. m. Maker spaces are collaborative spaces where students can gather and get creative with DIY projects while sharing ideas. Decompress after school by hanging out with friends in this student-led creative time. Each month will feature something different. Snacks included.
JR. STUDENTS ACTIVE FOR ENVIRONMENT( SAFE) CLUB Mondays, Oct. 8 & 22, Nov. 12, 3:30 to 5 p. m. Learn more about the beautiful planet we call home by joining our Jr. SAFE Club. Assisted by members of the PTHS SAFE Club, every session will explore a different environmental theme or issue. We’ ll have lots of fun, hands-on activities while learning about our world.
