ANTIQUE APPRAISAL: WHAT’ S IT WORTH? Bring your antiques to the Community Recreation Center to find out what they are worth. Each item you bring will be verbally appraised by a qualified appraiser. PARENT’ S NIGHT OUT( AGES 5 TO 10 YEARS) Minimum 10 – Maximum 35 Need to do some last minute holiday shopping or just looking for some time to yourself? Send the kids to the Recreation Center for a night of gym games, pizza and a movie! Pre-registration is required. Day: Friday, Dec. 16 Time: 6 to 9 p. m. NEW TRICK OR TREAT THE TRAIL( AGES 10 AND UNDER)
Come dressed in costume and trick or treat along the paved trail. Immediately following, we will have a costume contest at Shelter 4( the end of the trail)- so be sure to dress your best for a chance to win a prize! Pre-registration is recommended. Day: Saturday, Oct. 22 Time: 1 p. m.( line up begins at 12:45 p. m.) Fee: FREE Location: Community Recreation Center
Attention Local Businesses! We are looking for businesses to set up along the trail and pass out treats. This is a great opportunity to reach out to the families in our community. KICK OFF YOUR“ HOMETOWN HOLIDAYS” WITH OUR TWO EVENTS IN PETERS TOWNSHIP!
FROSTY’ S FUNHOUSE( AGES 10 AND UNDER) First, stop by Frosty’ s Funhouse at the Community Recreation Center for some holiday fun! Play games, make gifts and even write your letter to Santa. Parents must remain with their children during the event. Day: Sunday, Dec. 4 Time: 2 to 4 p. m. Fee: $ 5 Resident / $ 8 Non-Resident( per child participating) Location: Community Recreation Center
TREE LIGHTING Come to the Peters Township Municipal Complex to see Santa arrive in his shiny red fire truck and enjoy the sounds of the season, followed by a visit with Santa, a craft and refreshments in the library immediately following the Tree Lighting ceremony. All ages are welcome. Come and enjoy the evening and meet and greet old and new friends. Day: Sunday, Dec. 4 Time: 6 p. m. Fee: Free Location: Community Recreation Center
FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT Popcorn and refreshments will be provided; just bring along a pillow or blanket. Check our website or Facebook page to find out the movie selection prior to the event.
