Join PTPL Archivist Nancy for a look inside the pages of three historical scrapbooks that were donated to the Archives by township resident Ralph Kessler. EXPLORE MAMMOTH CAVE For all ages Tuesday, June 16, 1:00 p. m. – 2:00 p. m. Join a ranger from Mammoth Cave National Park to learn more about the longest cave system in the world! The ranger will share photos of the cave and explain why there are more than 400 miles of passageway under the rolling hills of south-central Kentucky.
PAINTINGS OF THE REVOLUTION Thursday, June 18, 6:00 p. m. – 7:00 p. m. Paintings of the American Revolution have been essential in the way that the war was understood, both at the time of the conflict and for generations after. This lecture will explore well-known paintings with guest presenter, Mallory Mortillaro.
