TOUCH-A-TRUCK
Are you ready to check out some really cool trucks and equipment? Join us at this free event and get up close and personal with some of your favorite“ big rigs.” Adults love this event as much as the kids. Come have fun interacting with a wide variety of trucks, construction vehicles, public safety vehicles and more! Children must be accompanied by adults.( Call to register your business and participate in one of our favorite events. This is a great way to advertise your company and show off your truck or piece of equipment.) FISHING DERBY
Join us for the 27th Annual McMurray Rotary and Peters Township Fishing Derby at Peters Lake Park. Kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to participate. Awards will be given for the FIRST, LARGEST, SMALLEST, and MOST fish caught! Don’ t miss the chance to win great prizes! Smaller prizes are awarded just for participating. Preregistration is required, and space is limited. HAUNTED TRAIL: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
If you like scaring people, storytelling or need service hours, we would love to talk to you! This is a great opportunity for families, groups and individuals to get involved with one of our biggest events of the year. We are looking for storytellers( high school- adult) to narrate the story line and lead groups through our Haunted Trail, as well as scene actors( ages 13 years & up) to act out a scene along the trail. LEARN TO PLAY PICKLEBALL Introductory classes geared for new players and with limited play. Topics include equipment, scoring, rules, serve and return game, and volleys. Each session focuses on the specific skills needed to play socially. Equipment can be provided. Signups are open online.
