PETERS CREEK Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Peters Creek EPC needs a bigger classroom, more tables, and more chairs! IT IS GROWING!

After eight years off-site, the Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church returned to its 250 Brookwood Road location and is a growing congregation, including all of the children joining for Sunday mornings, special events, Vacation Bible School( VBS) and the Wednesday afternoon music program and children’ s activities.

Each spring and fall, there is an eight- to 10-week session that meets on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00-5:30. The group enjoys a snack and some recreation time, and sings some old favorite Sunday School songs, some silly songs, and also songs to be presented in a worship service on a couple of occasions throughout the year.
Next fall, there will be an opportunity to participate in bell choir, too! Following kids choir, they enjoy a story and craft activity. Children are picked up at 5:30, but families are invited to remain for a light dinner of soup, bread, salad and dessert each week. This group includes children 3 years old through grade school. It’ s a big group, with a wide age range, but they all have a great time! Check out the website to sign up for the fall session, which will begin Oct. 1, 2025. The church is also looking forward to Vacation Bible School this summer where the participants will join a silly pup named Scout for Cokesbury’ s“ Road Trip” VBS, June 16-20 from 9:00 a. m. until 11:30 a. m. each day. Children entering kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to join in! Tweens and teens in 6th grade through high school are welcome to sign up to help, and also participate in some additional fun activities that the youth do that week. And of course, lots of adult volunteers are needed too.
Peters Creek EPC hopes to see you there!
