THE SELECTION BOOK CLUB Grades 7 to 12 Wednesdays, June 11, July 2, August 6, 12:30 to 1:15 p. m. Join us for a pizza lunch as we discuss titles from“ The Selection” series by Kiera Cass. The first five teens who register will receive a complimentary copy of the book.
TEEN DROP-IN CHESS For Grades 7 to 12 Wednesdays, June 11 to August 13, 2:30 to 3:30 p. m. Teens are invited to stop by the library on Wednesday afternoons all summer long to play chess with a fellow enthusiast. Please note that no instruction will be provided; players should know basic chess gameplay.
TEEN KNITTING 101 For Grades 7 to 12 Fridays, June 13 & 20, 2:30 to 3:30 p. m. Learn the basics of knitting in this fun, hands-on mini-workshop. All materials will be provided.
LEARN TO PAINT For Grades 4 to 8 Mondays, June 16, 23, 30 & July 7, 2:30 to 4 p. m. Students will learn simple painting techniques to make their artwork come to life. Learn where to add highlights, shadows, and textures that complete the artwork. Must register for each week individually.
TEEN BOOK FOLDING For Grades 7 to 12 Tuesday, June 17, 3 to 4 p. m. Create your own folded book art! This class will give you a unique way to reuse old books and give them new purpose.
TEEN & TWEEN PERLER BEADS Tweens, Grades 4 to 6, 1 to 2 p. m. Teens, Grades 7 to 12, 3 to 4 p. m. Thursday, June 19 Get creative with Perler beads, also known as fuse beads or Hama beads. These small plastic beads can be fused together with a household iron to create designs and crafts.
TEEN FLORAL SUNDAES For Grades 7 to 12 Saturday, July 5, 2 to 2:45 p. m. Make a sundae out of florals to take home— and then enjoy a delicious ice cream sundae to eat!
TEEN & TWEEN MINI ART GALLERIES Tweens, Grades 4 to 6, 1 to 2 p. m. Teens, Grades 7 to 12, 3 to 4 p. m. Thursday, July 10 We will be creating miniature art galleries using recycled tin boxes, scrapbook pages, and old books. Join us to craft your own pocket-sized gallery!

TWEEN & TEEN JUNK JOURNALING Tweens, Grades 4 to 6, 4 to 5 p. m. Teens, Grades 7 to 12, 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. Tuesdays, June 24, July 22 & August 26 Get creative and join us for Junk Journaling! This is a type of art journaling that involves making a book using a variety of found and recycled materials. All materials will be provided.
TEEN TASTE TEST CHALLENGE For Grades 7 to 12 Thursdays, 6:30 to 7 p. m. How well do you know some of your favorite snacks? Stop in the Teen Room for a blind tasting and see if your tastebuds can guess what the treat is! June 26: Oreos. July 24: Cereal.
