After maintaining an office in Southpointe for almost 20 years , the attorneys at Smith Butz have moved their law practice to Peters Township . Conveniently located adjacent to Route 19 on Center Church Road , Smith Butz moved into the former Berkley Building in October 2023 , after completing renovations to the new space . Kendra Smith , managing partner , said , “ It was the right time and a great opportunity to invest in our own building , while at the same time providing greater access for our clients .”
The founding attorneys were previously partners at large Pittsburgh law firms , so Southpointe was a logical location for their new law office in 2005 . Since establishing those roots , the client base of Smith Butz has grown in diversity , from Fortune 100 companies to municipalities , to serving the everyday needs of citizens and small businesses . Smith Butz ’ s practice areas have similarly expanded by serving clients with estate planning , estate administration , trusts , employment , corporate advising , business succession , and civil litigation needs .
