yards,” explains Prado. “Every participant will get the chance to
use it [with a donation].”
Six years ago, the organization added a second annual event in
Ohio, where Prado lives. It also has annual sporting clay events in
both Pittsburgh and Ohio, which take place in the fall, as well as
periodic concerts to help support families in need.
This year’s golf outings will take place on June 4 in Hudson,
Ohio, and June 11 at Valley Brook Country Club in McMurray.
Each outing includes 18 holes, lunch, contests, prizes, a silent
auction and an optional dinner.
“We put on an event that a lot of people enjoy,” says Prado.
“We always welcome new people to come out and have a good
experience, while supporting local families in need.” n
