HAUNTED TRAIL : VOLUNTEERS NEEDED If you like scaring people , storytelling or need service hours , we would love to talk to you ! This is a great opportunity for families , groups and individuals to get involved with one of our biggest events of the year . We are looking for storytellers ( high school to adult ) to narrate the story line and lead groups through our Haunted Trail , as well as scene actors ( ages 13 years & up ) to act out a scene along the trail . FISHING DERBY Join us for the 19th Annual McMurray Rotary and Peters Township Fishing Derby at Peters Lake Park . Kids grades Kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to participate . Awards will be given for the LARGEST fish , SMALLEST fish , the FIRST caught , and MOST fish caught ! Don ’ t miss the chance to win great prizes ! Smaller prizes are awarded just for participating . SUMMER DAY CAMPS ( AGES 6 TO 11 ) Minimum 10 – Maximum 35 Three one-week sessions for children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade . Enjoy sports , crafts , hikes , games , special visitors , and more at Peterswood Park . Each week has a different theme and offers new , fun activities ! Camp Weeks : July 9 to 13 ( Let ’ s Get Messy ) July 16 to 20 ( Outdoor Explorers ) July 23 to 27 ( Shipwrecked ) Time : 9 a . m . to Noon Fee : $ 55 Resident / $ 83 Non-Resident ( per week ) Location : Peterswood Park , Shelter # 4 Pre-registration required online or at the Community Recreation Center
PLAYGROUND PALS ( AGES 4 TO 8 ) Minimum 10 – Maximum 35 Three one-week sessions for children who enjoy games , sports , crafts , and using their imagination . This is a great introductory camp for our littlest campers . These camps are Monday , Wednesday , and Friday only , and are held at Elm Grove Park . Each week has a different theme and offers new , fun activities ! KIDZONE SUMMER CAMP ( AGES 6 TO 12 ) Minimum 10 – Maximum 35 Kidzone Summer Camp is a fun environment promoting selfesteem , teamwork , education , and encouragement .
