And all the while these performances are happening, parents of the Music Boosters are in the kitchen keeping the food coming. There are options to eat in or take out, and a meal includes homemade spaghetti and meatballs, garden salad, rolls, beverage, and dessert. Adult meal tickets are available at a pre-sale price of $ 15 through February 3rd, meal tickets are $ 20 at the door for adults. Children’ s meals are $ 10 for those 12 and under. A family meal deal( two adults and two children) can also be purchased for $ 45.
This year marks the 27th annual Meatballs and Music event, taking place on Saturday, February 7th at the High School, from 3 p. m. – 8 p. m. Heading up the team of volunteers this year is PT parent Julie Collins, whose husband Bob shares the title of“ Sauce Boss” in the kitchen with fellow parent Greg McVicker. Together they lead the team making the sauce from scratch according to a secret recipe handed down over the 27 year tradition of the event.
“ This is a huge effort, but the rewards are equally as big,” said Collins, who has two daughters currently in the music program.“ Whether people come here for the music, the food or just the raffle baskets – they are ultimately here for the kids. Our community always steps up to support our kids.”

Pleasant Valley Elementary has once again earned top honors, being named the # 1 Elementary School in Pennsylvania for 2026 by U. S. News & World Report. This marks the second consecutive year Pleasant Valley has received this prestigious recognition, which is based on student proficiency on state-required assessments and the school’ s success in serving all student populations.
“ I am incredibly proud of our students, staff, and families,” said Dr. Greg Marquis, principal of Pleasant Valley Elementary.“ I see amazing things everyday in our classrooms and I’ m grateful to see our team recognized for all that they do.”
Adding to this outstanding achievement, Bower Hill Elementary ranked # 6 on the statewide elementary list, and our Middle School placed # 7 across Pennsylvania in the middle school rankings.
These accomplishments highlight the exceptional efforts of our PT staff and students. Congratulations to everyone who made this success possible!
