THE CAREGIVER ’ S GUIDE Thursday , February 20 , 6 to 7 p . m . This workshop is designed to support members of the Sandwich Generation ( those balancing care for both aging parents and their own children ) as well as their loved ones . We will provide essential information on estate planning and care options for your aging parents and loved ones . Attendees will gain practical insights into protecting family assets , planning for current or future medical and care needs , and exploring financial solutions to cover long-term care costs . From powers of attorney and wills and trusts to navigating available benefits like Medicaid , VA Benefits , and long-term care insurance , this workshop will empower caregivers and their loved ones with the tools they need to make informed decisions . This program is presented by Zacharia Brown : Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorneys .
HONEYBEES & BEEKEEPING Saturday , February 22 , 2 to 3 p . m . Join us to learn the basics of honeybees and beekeeping and discover how fascinating these wonderful creatures truly are ! Howard Mincone started beekeeping in 2018 , and since then he has been overwhelmed by what he has learned about honeybees , as well as their impact on humans and the environment .

GROWING ORCHIDS Saturday , March 8 , 10 to 11 a . m . Join an expert from the Orchid Society of Western PA to learn how to care for this botanical wonder . Chuck Oldenburg will share interesting orchid facts , the basics of orchid care , and have different orchids on display . Chuck is a Peters Township resident who has been growing orchids for over 20 years . He currently has between 800 and 1,000 orchids in his collection .
