Township is there ’ s no shortage of activities for any age — thanks to our Parks & Recreation Department and Peters Township Public Library . Check out pages 14-29 for dozens of programs and seasonal events .
In each issue of IN Peters Township , we highlight people in the community who are doing extraordinary things . We celebrate the accomplishments of two local women in this issue .
Peters Township resident Nicole Cleland recently opened Made by : you studio in McMurray . “ I wanted a place where the kids who love to create and get messy could go , and people like me could get back to it . I wanted it to be a place for everyone and anyone ,” says Cleland . The studio features a wide variety of artists who specialize in different areas . There are things to do at the studio for people of any age , from crafts with kids as young as 3 , to events for Girl Scouts , and birthday or holiday parties . There are also adult craft sessions as well as calligraphy and pottery classes .
Jennifer Sauro DiLucia is celebrating the 50th episode of her popular podcast , “ Spill with Me , Jenny D .” Episodes air once a week and can be found on iHeart Radio , Spotify , Apple Podcasts , Google Podcasts , Podbean and DiLucia ’ s website — spillwithme . com . DiLucia advertises her podcast through Instagram , TikTok , Twitter , Nextdoor , Yelp and Facebook , and has covered a multitude of topics in episodes and interviews , including addiction , mental health , body image , different generations , nonprofit organizations , and female entrepreneurs .
