DiLucia has covered a multitude of topics in her podcast episodes and guest interviews , including addiction , mental health , body image , different generations , nonprofit organizations , and women entrepreneurs , plus speaking with sports figures Merrill Hoge and Sean Casey , and WTAE anchor Andrew Stockey . “ This podcast is for everyone about everything !” says DiLucia . “ The goal is to help my listeners heal or have a laugh . I always start each podcast with ‘ Hello , my beautiful people ’ to let my listeners know they are all beautiful and I always end each episode with ‘ Take care .’
“ I was in a bad place , like most people , during the pandemic , and I really needed a light in all the darkness ,” she continues . “ When starting this podcast , I wanted to bring a light to other people ’ s lives as well as my own . I wanted people ’ s voices to be heard — it is just as therapeutic for me as it is for them to talk and connect .” DiLucia has made great connections and friendships through the journey : “ It ’ s so rewarding to make new friends while doing something you ’ re passionate about !” In the future for “ Spill with Me , Jenny D ,” DiLucia hopes to do more video podcasting on YouTube so people can see who ’ s being interviewed . She also hopes to expand her listeners and those she interviews nationwide and not just in the Pittsburgh area . n
