SIT & FIT : ADULT MOVEMENT CLASS Thursday , Feb . 23 , 9:30 to 10 a . m . Multi-Purpose Room , 1st floor With easy-to-follow instructions , you will tone and stretch your body in this low-impact , mindful movement class . The class will be set to soothing music and is perfect for mature adults and seniors of all abilities . Your instructor will be Meghan Greenwood , an ACE-certified group fitness instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience . Registration is required . We are accepting 20 mature adults / seniors for this program .
PYSANKY EGG DECORATING CLASS 2-part class Monday , Feb . 27 & Thursday , March 2 , 5:30 to 7:30 p . m . OR Monday , March 6 & Thursday , March 9 , 5:30 to 7:30 p . m . Multi-Purpose Room , 1st floor Learn the basic techniques to make traditional Ukrainian Pysanky eggs with Michael Yancheck . Maximum of 12 adult participants . There is no cost to attend this program . We will email you a small list of household items to bring to the class . The list will be sent to registrants the week before the class . He was born in Vienna , Austria . As hidden children , their paths crossed briefly in a French orphanage . This is just a part of their story , separately and together : surviving the Holocaust , fighting Nazis in the French Resistance , and making a new life in America . Join us to hear the true story of Kurt and Edith Leuchter , as told by their daughter Deborah Stueber . Edith and Kurt Leuchter , 95 and 94 , live in Florida and will join the program via Zoom to answer questions . FAMILY & FRIENDS PHOTO DAY Saturday , March 11 , 10 a . m . to 3 p . m . Multi-Purpose Room , 1st floor Coordinate those outfits and get your spring pictures taken at the library ! We will use various backdrops and props , and a library staff member will use a quality camera to capture the magic . We will email photographs to participants the following week . Each participant will take home one tote bag . You must be familiar with using a sewing machine to participate in this class . Registration is required . We are accepting 6 adults for this program .
